Best fuel type & brand for 2.5i 4GEN Liberty

Hey guys
I recently just bought my first car a 2008 Subaru Liberty 4GEN (No Badge) Wagon and i'm keen to know what type of fuel and brand would be the best to use. The previous owner recommended me to use 95 or 98 as he said it was better for the car and he used those fuels when he had it, but idk what brand he filled it up with. So I gave United 91 a try for the first time as I wanted to see how well it went with 91 as it hadn't been put in the car for a while. It went pretty good. 2 weeks ago I decided to give 98 a go so I put Shell V-Power 98 in it and I had noticed slightly better fuel economy and performance then the 91. I've been reading that BP fuel mainly Ultimate is recommended for NA Subaru's from previous topics in other forums but that's just some people saying that it's good. Otherwise i'll see what you guys should recommend either 91,95 or 98 for my car and what brand would be the best for my car. Cheers guys

I like the Special E10 94 Octane from 7-11, for the price:octane ratio.

If not concerned with cost,
I liked my flex fuel tune from kidotuning even more, running united e85.
That did require a fuel pump upgrade , which was done while changing the fuel filter.

Not sure what the Gen 4s are like, but the only stuff my old Gen 2 98 Outback didn't like was Caltex, both 91 and 95. Ran like a pig on it, which is not what you want when climbing mountains.....
