So after making a financially inadvisable purchase on yahoo auctions I am looking at blue stitching.
After having a look online and finding an interesting idea on the nsx forum I figured I would give it a go.
The part to do was my centre console cover. The basic principle is pretty easy, use an upholstery needle and thread of your select colour and go over the stitches.
To start I doubled the thread as a single line wouldn't be enough, then I tied an anchoring Knot in the end.
Because of the way the stitching is, I skipped every second stitch, then at the end looped around and came back to do the ones I had missed.
It took a few hours, but I just watched stuff and did it, so it wasn't too bad, only downside is sore fingers.
But I'm happy with the end result, and it'll go well with my other blue stitching.
I'm hoping at some point to pick up the seats from a wrb liberty from Japan because they had really nice seats with blue central panels which I like.
In other news I got a kicker hideaway sub, just to get a bit more oomph without sacrificing any boot space.
