Kuhmo tyres

Postby Vontisch » Wed Nov 22, 2017 8:17 pm

Righto gents. Just stumbled across a deal Ozzy Tyres are doing. Buy 4 Kuhmo tyres and get 2 free. Now the question is will a 225/40/18 fit on the standard gt-b wheel?

The tyres are KUMHO 225/40R18 92Y KU31

Works out to be $526 For 4

Some advice would be great. Currently have a Falken Ziex 912. 215/45/18

225 will fit but will be muffin top

You can spend a tad more and get Falken FK453 in 215/45, arguably a better tyre (I went from KU31 to FK452 and the Falken were better).

Zeix is a death trap so good you're getting rid of it.

Haven't had any issues with the ZIEX (45000 and still got 3-4mm) good wet and dry.

I do not track the car but very occasional do a spirited run. Thanks for the advice

Depends what you're comparing the Zeix to. Compared to KU31, they are rubbish. Compared to cheapo China tyres, they are good.
