Suspension Gone, need advice

Postby Sotko » Tue Nov 21, 2017 7:22 pm

Hey guys

Got my tyres changed on my 07 GT and was advised that all the shocks are all leaking and the LCA bushes are torn.

I was looking at getting the STi Group N bushings, but with delivery, I may as well get the AVO or Whiteline bushes. Any recommendations between the two?

As for the shocks, I know as much about them as I do heart surgery, so after some advice on the below:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SUBARU-LIBER ... xytL9SHrmW

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Subaru-Libe ... XQY8JRf0fy

Are either of those good enough, or should I look elsewhere? The car won't be tracked at all so its just a daily driver with some spirited driving here and there.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

i went with the whiteline LCA bushes as they have castor adjustment and "anti-lift"

I don't think those KYB are for your GT. Also, stay away from cheap "coilover" suspension.

Am leaning towards the whiteline bushes. Should I change the front LCA bushes at the same time?

Those KYB are for the 07 GT, as it is listed as a compatible car. So what should we be paying for as far as coilovers go? Are any of the below any good? Any other recommendations as far as new springs go?

Urgh I was looking for that Wolf Racing link but my searches yesterday turned up nothing.
I was seriously considering the TEIN Street Basis (my Bilstein are worn, I was going to buy one but other stuff came up). The one you linked is for gen5, gen4:

Not sure if you consider the Flex Z worth it, it's only a few hundred dollars more (perhaps worth it if your strut tops are worn).
