Gold Brembo's in urgent need of a respray!!

Postby TomFowler » Fri Apr 28, 2017 11:49 pm

Hey guys and gals,
I know its the age old question 'what is the paint code for the Brembo Sti gold', rather than asking for the code. I was wondering if anyone knew of any shops or back-yard people who do good work, can match the gold closely and have had previous work in this area..

Im aware of a bloke named 'Mark' who seems to do some amazing work with the brembo's but i cant get in contact with him via PM (anyone have his phone number or email?).
Is there anyone else people can recommend for a good job and a close match?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks heaps

Mark does good work, but if I recall he's not doing calipers anymore.

just paint them yourself. this is how i did mine.
strip and sand, whizz wheel etc.
tape up piston bores.
VHT flameproof primer.
800p sand.
VHT satin black caliper paint.
VHT clear caliper paint.
hey presto! :D

Dont sand them. Get them soda blasted. Brembos have a heat coating on them already from factory. Soda blasting will take the paint off but not the heat coating. I did this to mine.
