g'day all,
If you've got nothing on tomorrow morning, there's the All Japanese Cruise to Tamborine Mtn.

I'm interested. Do you know if helmets are required for driving on the track?

Helmets not required.

I just bought my ticket, there's 18 left
I'll buy a ticket when I get there for cruise 2 at 9.35, that'll give me 50 minutes for breakfast.

here's the timetable.

So what's the different between the hi-octane breaky and laps, cruises 1 - 4, and the road trip cruise?

From my experience the cruises 1-4 will be at a slower pace for most of the circuit except the straight. The road trip cruise I think will be limited to Road Trip participants.
From the Hi Octane site "Cruise Fest is an ideal way to experience a race track in your own car at your own pace for 30 minutes. Lakeside Raceway is a multi-elevation track perfect for driving at a spirited, comfortable, constant pace, not flat out and is a great test of driver skill and attention"

Thanks, Robin; just bought my ticket.

Might be an idea to meet somewhere and cruise up together?

Excellent!
It's starting at 8.15, so I'll just try to get to the track as early as I can from here, hopefully by 7.30.
