No, you do not need to replace the reservoir, unless it is damaged some way (unlikely)
Draining and replacing the fluid id a good idea, if you wish to achieve the best results.

Pumps are simply rebuilt OEM pumps.
We lap them to remove the wear and chatter marks caused by the cavitating vanes and the close them up to the original dimension.
Would be the same as the original
