I should be able to make this. Look forward to it! I suppose I should bring the Lib rather than the brand new CX-9? :wink:

Definitely want to see and hear your Lib now Dave. Verso looks to be awesome.

Only problem is they are now predicting a thunderstorm for Sunday evening :-(

Nah mate... don't believe it! It's only a Toyota. I've had too many Toyota's to know it CAN'T be true!

So I checked your Toyota Forum thread. I saw 8.07 to 100kph in real world Aussie test. Pffff....

Hey all

thanks for tonight - albeit brief.

Who came:
IDOLYZ (Ben)
GTSPECB STI (Dave)
dwayne (Dwayne - duh :lol:

Torpedo (James)
duecer (Randal)

Dave had to leave early, then after a bit more of a chat, off went Ben and then James. Randal and I grabbed a beer and caught up (we're old workmates from several years ago).

We grabbed some snaps with the four of us after Dave left, but mine turned out ummm... very average. Tangcla will probably cry when I post them up. We were in desperate need of a tripod (which I thought of but then promptly forgot) - and probably some better cameras too :-)

Let's try and get some more numbers next time !!

Dave talked a bit about the Verso tune and in case you hadn't gathered by the other threads about it, definitely sounds worth getting.

James - thanks for bringing the stickers.

Next meet we will probably have some more light (DST coming next weekend) and hopefully someone who knows how to use a camera. Thanks Ben for your excellent tip regarding disabling my flash :oops:

Yeah I'll second that! Was good to meet you guys and have a chat.

Dwayne and I had a bit of a blat through the burbs on the way home... for a while there it looked like we had a Porsche Cayenne wanting to play (he didn't seem to like us overtaking him on a roundabouts outside lane)... but alas even the Porsche bowed to the superiority of the Liberty!

My pics are half decent. I'll post them up tomorrow.
