So the bullshit saga continues.

I have had the car for about 4 months, 2 months + of that it has been at Trivett's service center for the SAME FUCKING ISSUES. Its onto it 7th visit now and the last time they had it for a month, got it back with a "we are confident that we have fixed the issue Mr Thomas" ...... It lasted just over 3 hours and wouldn't lock again. So i rang the service manager who cringes now when i call him i swear and tore him a new ass hole.

BUT, this is the best bit.

I have since found out that when i bought the car i was lied to. I was told repeatedly that the car was "an ex volvo head office FULLY SERVICED and pampered car"....................To which surprise surprise mother fucker .... IT HAS NEEEEVVVEEERRR HAD A SERVICE since being built in January 2013. So it has the same oil and oil filter in it for 32 months since being built to sep 2015 when i bought it.

So the shit that floats around in an engine when its new has been in it for 32months and 11,000 kays. CCAAARRRRNNNNTTSSS!!

During the purchase of the car the log books were produced and they were completely void of ANY information. No first owner, no pre delivery service NOTHING.
So i asked the sales guy Richard ( i will refer to him with his nickname DICK ) where is all the info in the books. To which i got a " its a ex volvo head office fully serviced and pampered car".

So DICK the services have been done right?? " yeh mate its a full service ex volvo car mate, these things get driven by some exec dude to and from meetings and pampered".

So how come there is no information in the book, no first owner information nothing DICK ?? To which , my dad who was with me along with a mate as well, says " I used to be the Chief Informations officer at the RMS, that's illegal. You need to fill this information out as this is a requirement for warranty"

" oh ummm its just volvo mate, they do this sometimes. As they own the car first and only have it for a short period of time they sometimes dont fill the info out as they want YOU to be the first owner in the books as you are the first outside owner and not volvo". To which my dad is NOT happy with that at all.

So i ask " So the car HAS been service correctly right??"

" YEEESS Mate, all you need to do is to go to our service department and they will look up all the details and fill the book out for you. It's all on their system with volvo head office." Ok awesome , i will ask them to do that when they get the car ready for delivery for me.

Part of the "deal" was they service the car, and because we didnt have any records we called it the 15,000k service.I got a call from the service manager saying that the 30k service was being completed, ok. So when i pick the car up after asking them to fill out the log books, i get home and check them a few days later ( I know i should have done it at the dealer before i left, but i wanted to go BOOOOOSSTING. ) .Surprise surprise the ONLY bit of information that is in the books......... is the 30k service, NOTHING else.

So during all these fucking faults i have been asking the service centre to fill them out and i got twice, sorry i cant find any, there seems to be something we are missing. The last guy says, call Volvo Head Office.

So BEAUTY, time to rip another ass hole. So i start on the car being a faulty piece of shit and then ask him to track down my previous owner and service history. To which he comes back with..... it doesnt have any previous services done on the vehicle and CLEARLY puts Trivett into the blame..... In writing in an email...... YES THANKS VOLVO.

So the short of it is. Fair trading had no luck with trivetts and now im off to a Formal Tribunal Hearing next week to get the carnts to give me another car. Cause this car is fucked and when they sold it to me they had breached Disclosure section of the Motor dealers and repairers act 2013 which they act under.

So YAY to me...... woot woot.

Anyone got a spare pair of pluggas (Thongs) i can have..... gunna need them. LOL.

Sorry to hear and what an absolute joke - but I hope the tribunal is positive in your favour.

Sounds quite clear cut to me. I would seek legal advice as a matter of course

As you can tell im completely over it. I bought this car as my stock daily that i can keep for the next 5-7 years and it cost me sweet FA cause its a stock car that is serviced properly and looked after.

The amount of damage in the motor and turbo would be fairly decent i reckon. The car has been on the track before i owned it or driven fecking hard as the rear tyres are feathered on the outside edge and the fronts look much newer. So they rotated the tyres before sale.

Now im not too worried about the "track work" because these things were built with that in mind and also all the press stuff when released they were at the track. But this is ONLY if the car had been serviced correctly and infact in the front of the log books it states if the car is driven in extreme conditions that the services need to be halfway.

So either im destined to be driving a fucking Toyota Camry or i have some voodoo dark magic curse on me. Lol

No words to describe this. I thought it was the full second hand cars that got this treatment, not near new cars and especially from reputable brands. Makes me sick.

Its places like this that hope you disappear and give in. I would hold your ground mate and fight it with every last breathe. Make them remember you for years to come.

Fuck it, im just going to get my money back and go buy a Toyota Aurion daily and then just have a Datsun 1600 coupe , 240z, TA22 Celica, 86, rx3 etc etc as a mad weekend car and thats that.

The Tribunal hearing went surprisingly well.

Volvo and Trivett have done a back flip and want to refund me / Buy my car back as they cant guarantee that it wont fuck up again as "apparently" there is "nothing wrong with the car"..... BUUUUUUULLLLLSSSHHHHIIITTTT.

They just got scared of the possible court issues relating to the sale of the car. What ever.

So im just waiting on a final yes, we will pay it ALL out ( had some negative equity and interest charges etc etc etc )

So im on the hunt again for another car.

Sorta down to a nice little A4 2.0T quattro S Line, WRX / STI or the trusty XR6T.

Decided im not spending fuck loads of money.

So any suggestions for around 50k ish.....
