Has anyone used this dual function setup?

It's a boost gauge/controller and wideband in one gauge. This way I can install it, and Innovate's dual oil press/temp gauge, in the cubby to keep it all away from prying eyes. Innovate's webpage says it's a standalone controller but is it really needed/will it play well considering the ECU handles boost control? I'm only running the standard VF44 at the moment.
