You can suggest anything you want Gene![]()
But my answer is no sadly hahaha
Way too hard and the oem dials are made out of plastic, so the tolerance on them would make it impossible to make it fit everyone's dial snuggly. That's why none of the other companies have done it that way either.
I plan on putting 4 separate pieces of tape on the quadrants of the underside of the cover. That should give it more than enough bite, to prevent it moving independently of the oem dial.
The underside of the cover is also domed to match the top of the oem dial so it should be a fairly nice fit.

If your supplying a product why not supply it in a kit including the wipes
shav wrote:Yeah Im happy to surface prep myself too. That said, The Spec B makes a good point to ensure that for optimum bond, to prepare the surfaces before installing. I didnt know this until something was said. But a cautionary note for the owner to do this would be enough. Adding wipes at Adam's expense (cost or time) and the like is a bit OTT. He is doing a bloody good job getting it this far as it is. I am truly grateful for his time in setting this up because I know how much of a head ache it is to organize a lot of people with different thoughts and suggestions into one consensus.
What ever it is Adam, I support it.

peadya100 wrote:Yeah I was very conscious of the overall diameter of the cover. The cover itself at its widest, is only about 1.5mm larger in diameter than the base diameter of the OEM dial. Which leaves it well inside the led text and pattern on the gear stick side of the dial.
I can do 1 better than dimensions for you Daniel. Once the design is finalised I’ll give you a drawing of the decal, so you can get it made up.
