I used to have one of these:

But it was getting a bit old and rusty, so I got myself one of these:
MY03 RX wagon.
I've had it for a about a year and a half and so far I haven't had to pull out the engine or swap a gearbox, which is a change from the Ford. Since I've had the Subaru, I have put in an iPod compatible stereo, stuck on some spottys (necessary where I live) and installed an auto transmission cooler.
Also done general maintenance stuff, which is a breeze. Spin on trans filter? What a great idea!
