WTB: Lowered Springs for Non B-Spec 08 Wagon

Postby adamX » Fri May 29, 2015 7:26 am

Hey Guys,
As the title states:
Im after some lowered springs to accompany the new KYB struts going into my Non B-Spec NA 08 Heritage Wagon.
However im not after a massive drop as the wife drives the car mainly.
(thinking Kings Lows would be too much at -30mm)
Any options and suggestions would be great!
Thanks

Everybody is after springs of this height. Unfortunately there is not a lot of options if you did a search. The best you will will find is Sti Pink springs which give a 15-20mm max drop. But are $430 delivered from Japan.

Wouldn't stock Spec-B springs be lower (and firmer) than the stock springs on the NA Heritage?

Other option would be to go up a wheel size (and relative tyre size - but still keeping "legal") as this makes the car look lower (even though car will actually be higher...).

The Spec B springs are the same height as Sti pinks I thought. Finding some second hand is the hardest part.

So...will Spec-B springs (originally from a set of Bilsteins) fit into standard Liberty struts??
I was under the impression that they were different and didnt physically fit....

Anyone had any success with getting stock springs reset??? ie to a different height, but keeping original spring rate..

Thanks for all the info lads!

I was always under the impression the Billie springs only fit billie shocks and couldn't be fitted into KYB struts. But I am not 100% sure now.

Speak to McDoof as he has had his stock springs reset to 20mm lower and he reckons it rides like stock but looks lower.
