Is matt's shop located in Sunbury? I'm so keen for this tune! I'd drive up to him to get it done! Haha

He was here 3 weeks ago. Usually he comes every 6months. You may have to wait till Sept-Oct for his next visit.

He's worth the wait Martin. Just save some pennies for other bolt on mods to be fitted so when he gets here you can git them days before he arrives.

After an unsuccessful tune with another tuner on the forum here, I decided to bite the bullet and meet up with Matt. Being on the South Coast of NSW, getting hold of Matt was difficult, but when he announced a South Coast NSW run, I jumped on it. After meeting up with him, and dragging my Dad and his 2005 H6 Outback along (Tuned by the same Online Tuner but a little more successful - still not a perfect tune though) we both received KiDo tunes.

Can I just say WOW. All of the lag/jerkiness issues I was having with my 2004 Liberty 3.0RB on the other tune are now gone. After being told by the previous tuner there was something possibly wrong with my DBW and Throttle Body, to have this tune go ahead without issue was a surprise. After replacing O2 sensors, replacing MAF, running Smoke Tests, cleaning electrical connectors, changing spark plugs again (after only 10k), cleaning all kinds of Solenoids and Sensors with the previous tuner, and nothing working, I am happy to put these issues I was experiencing down to bad tuning.

The linear mapping the previous tuner had done was just not right for my car. It was causing all kinds of issues. Matt's tune is flexible and instantly delivers smoothness to idle, gear changes, torque and performance. Not as droney, much healthier sounds, less effort getting to speed, not having to drop back a gear, better fuel economy (If I stop enjoying the tune so much :P).

Coming away from over 3-4 months of constant issues with the previous tuner without a drivable tune (went back to stock), I can happily say that this tune has fixed all of my problems. It is incredible.

Comparatively, the Outback's throttle and mapping was extremely sensitive on the other tuner's tune, and this was causing all kinds of issues (banging from rear diff taking off, not holding gears as well, gear changes not as smooth, poor fuel economy). After having the KiDo tune, it has seen the same result's as mine and puts this other tune to shame.

The pickup on both cars is incredible. As I have experienced what it is like to suffer for months trying to achieve a drivable tune, I appreciate this result even more.

I would not hesitate to recommend KiDO tuning and Matt to anyone.

Just picked up the car from a service at the dealer, the gear changes don't seem to be as smooth from when it was first tuned, is there anyway I can check to see if they have done anything? is the only way they could have changed it was by uploading a new tune image/version? or is there a factory reset they can do? thanks

What will I get out of one of Kido's tunes?

I've got 08 STI and I hear the factory tune is terrible.

Would love it if someone could share what benefits they've gotten just from a tune.

Cheers
