proper update time!

New turbo arrived the other day so in my spare time managed to bolt and pipe up the intercooler:

Image

Still needs a quick coat of paint on the pipes from where i scratched it and i need to fix that clamp on the passenger side.. facing the wrong way :angry2: and posible some trimming of the plastics in the path of the piping before i can put the front bumper back on

In other news disappointing that the kartboy adapters didnt fit, and will need grinding down.. not something i really wanted nor expected.

Thanks shav :)
another small update: managed to get the front braided lines on. If anyone is attempting this or planning on doing so. DO NOT use a normal cresent wrench, you will most likely wreck the nuts. Go straight for the vice clamps (on the marked nut).

So with the brake install pretty much complete save a couple of tricky lines, the imminent install of the turbo and all the nicks and nacks awaiting that event... Does anyone know it is safe to turn the car on? just to idle. Want to make sure everything is plugged in ok, cranks over and what she sounds like! :D The car hasnt been turned on for ~3 months

Original tune was just for the headers, 3" TBE and TD05-20G

I'm no expert, but when I upgraded the turbo it was safe to drive off boost.... and generally exhaust mods are fine. I say go for it :good:
