A guy I used to work with had a pretty significantly worked late 90's Corolla import. From memory it hit about 90kph in first gear in a VERY small amount of time.

Car(s): Steel Silver MY10 GT Wagon + 1985 Subaru Sherpa
Mods: (GT) HKS Panel Filter. The HKS I put in the MY10 is the same filter I took out of my MY05 GT. So yes, they do fit. Custom leather heel pad to minimise carpet wear in the drivers footwell. Slotted front rotors. (Sherpa) 14'' 6 Spoke mags, Chrome Gear Shift (sick!), Alloy Pedals (sicker!), new positive and negative battery terminals, Alpine cda-9827 H/U, JBL GT 6x9's boxed and mounted (sickest!), Kicker DS650.2 component speakers mounted in the footwells in flibreglass pods, Alpine MRP-F200 4 channel amp (4x40wRMS), Rebadged with hektik chrome eBay badges, STi stickers for more powaaaa, "leather" handbrake boot, recarpetted with grey/black car carpet from Bunnings, sick Clarke Rubber boot mat, polished and waxed.

2010 Camaro SS, 6.85L Stroker, twin turbos and E85... 1200rwHp on 18psi, 24psi would hit 1500rwHp
6th gear pull from 1800rpm to 5400rpm took 9 seconds with traction control on
Also drove(and tuned) the 2010 STi Spec C which came 6th place in Targa Tasmania this year, 30kph to 230kph in 10.2 seconds

200B ha ha, nah that was probably the slowest, actually I take that back my first VK was the slowest because it spent most of the 2 years I owned it broken down ha ha.
Tie between twin turbo straight 6 EA Ford (was insane, went through a motor every couple of months till we put a 4.0lt in it then started blowing gear boxes and diffs
good thing EA's were cheap!) think it put out 200 and something when it was running at 6 psi but that was short lived and was then put up to 13psi and VY Berlina International wagon Gen 3 stroked out to a 383, when first built the wagon put out 325kw atw and when my bf brought it last year it was putting out 305kw atw but need new oxy's and to be retuned, unfortunately never got the chance to find out if it could get those figures again.

had the amazing opportunity to drive it for a week last year as my wife was given the privilege to have it from her line of work. I swiftly took the keys off her and had the best week of my life.

Not particularly exotic but I think the fastest car I've driven is my current ride.
Having said that, it does pull like a freight train on boost.

I recently got a ride in MSR's 10 second 2 Door STI.
All i can say is "HOLY FUCKING SHIT" is that car ballistically fast or what.
Definitely the fastest car i've ever been in (didn't get to drive it though).

Drove a new Porsche 911 Turbo (991)the other day and compared it against a moderately tuned 997 turbo (it has about 650hp to 700hp).
Holy Fucking Shit are these cars fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The stock 991 (PDK) is a little bit faster than the tuned 997 (manual).
The 997 has upgraded Exhaust, Headers, Intercoolers, Intake upgrades, ECU tune and numerous suspension upgrades.
The 991 is just an amazing car in every way and i couldn't fault it.
It's now has been tuned, has an air filter upgrade and is producing around 650hp!
He timed it and it now does 0-100km in 2.4 seconds!
Scary acceleration!

Yowsers that's fast. Fastest car I've driven would be a 997 Turbo S - holy crap it was fast. Sadly nowhere near any of the limits at reasonably legal speeds on our roads.

Not as quick as some.
92 EB falcon wagon 250ish Km/h with light mods. GPS speed. was still pulling but started getting too much of a handful. had a theoretical top speed of 262!! Just a 6 with a 5 speed manual and auto diff.
05 focus 230km/h. Stock. like it was 100km/h
The good old days of NT no limits.
These speeds where not kept for very long. If something came out or went wrong!!!!
Want to have a go in the uncles 1974 Aston Martin.
