mesh bumper inserts

I'm interested in finding or making a mesh insert for the lower centre opening of the facelift gen 4 spec b bumper, has anyone seen one or heard of this?
The section I am referring to is highlighted green, I am hoping to have it in honeycomb mesh like the fog lights and grill.

Photo belongs to Dave, I used it as it has the grill I want and no plate in the way of the lower cutout.

i just something not dissimilar to chicken wire. paint it wrinkle black. Head down to the hardware shop and look for something malleable and you can bolt it to the bottom of the reo bar

That spec b grille is made to emulate stainless steel intercrimp mesh.
I've wanted some for ages to make a complete set of postFL grilles.

It's a group buy candidate as a 2 meter minimum length is around $200 from a supplier in Tullamarine.
Last time I visited them they were out of the exact pitch I imagined would be similar to that spec b grille.

The plan is to make male bucks from jigsawed customwood and gently hammer the mesh to shape with a 90 degree edge all around for a clean look. Mounts could be welded on, the edges painted black and the centers polished or painted.

Another alternative is a Usdm Crown Victoria grille :)

I think the plastic mesh like the recent home made honeycomb grille thread would look good too. They have made similar inserts for SS commodores.
