small update; out with the oem fuel pump, in with the 265LPH pump. Shoutout to KOBE sports, pump fitted perfect no worries at all + new filter! :)

No photos as its pretty boring and dirty... haha.

Other problem struck today is the fmic. Looks like its going to be a long journey trying to get it to fit

Very nice

This will make some good power

You still on stock block and headstuds?

Fingers and tootsies crossed!

Yes stock block but can update the head-studs as i have a bit of servicing to do. Recommendations? Whats the advantages also, just allows more reliable boost?

Definitely do headstuds if you have the chance

Whilst heads are off - put some cosworth headgaskets in there and use arp 625+ headstuds. Will mitigate against the dreaded hg problems the ej255/257 are prone to (particularly with e85)

If cash permits, grab a set of cams too. May as well while heads are off. I think Boostaddict still has his so follow up

Cams, headstuds / cosworth gaskets and your turbo on 25psi e85 will go 250-260awkw and pack a very nice punch

Wow... but i thought the stock block was only good for 230? If i was to do the cosworth HG, studs and cams this would fix the weakest links of the block? and make 250 atw reliably?

Put it this way - studs and headgaskets will eliminate 50% of the problem for boost over 20psi.

Bottom end reliability is very subjective and will come down to a bit of luck

Its the cylinders flexing and main bearing clearances that are a bit iffy. And at that power level any detonation or lean out and bye bye bottom end.

just a small update, some new parts arrived today thanks to some forum members:

Lines will go on when the rear brembos arrive and touched up by cruisn hopefully in a few weeks.
Mufflers will hopefully be a bit sooner. They are q300 invidia muffs however the back portion is different to the stock and my current layout so will probably have to do a cut and shut job on them before they can fit.

mufflers where cut and shut and mounted. a little bit uneven, the left is around a 1-2cm lower than the right but weighing up its probably not worth the effort to fix it
