Good luck with it either way mate.

I'm not sure of the Versions it's either 8 or 9. It's a GDB Rev E, (6/04 build) homologated Group N parts. It's a bit of a crossover. Mechanicals and interior are the same as the next model but in the earlier model body. Confused much? Personally I think it's the one to get before they changed the styling for the last of the GD chassis. Either way, yep, 207, VF36, and all the goodies. Dead stock save for TEIN coilovers and a DEFI boost guage/controller. Hard to find these days.

With winter here in Japan it's time to get some dedicated rubber on so I can get some snowboarding in. Went out today and ordered a set of Wedssport SA10Rs and Yoko IG50s. Should arrive in a week or two so come Janurary it'll be time for a slide...just not in the Legacy.

Got the new wheels and tyres fitted today. Threw the winter treads on the stock Spec B rims and the summer ones on the Wed's SA10Rs. As the car is still under warranty I had to stick with the placard tyre size so 215/45R18 so the rims are 18x7.5+45. It could use a little more low and once the warranty is up it will get it, SYMS or Prova springs and the usual adjustment bits and pieces. It'll also get a few other little things like an exhaust, tune, most likely @ Mine's as they are just down the road, and a few supporting things like BOV, adjustable waistgate solenoid, and Air/Oil Seperator. Not chasing a power figure just want to coax a little more acceleration out of it to compensate for the slushmatic.

Sorry for the average shots I was running out of light so just snapped them quickly. Will get some better ones next time I'm down in Hakone.

Great looking car. I have always been a fan of the white paint. The wheels set it off nicely.

Road riding is too dangerous!! Downhill is much safer as the trees and rocks aren't tryingto kill you. My bike would seem heavy to you at 16kgs.

The 303 with the rail system? They were pretty sick in their day. Can't go wrong with either of those other two. I've still got my old 98 FSR Elite, 01 FSR Team DH, and 04 SX. Bought the Mrs a Status last year to get her back on the hill as well. I do miss riding in Aus though. It's OK over here but nothing like Thredbo, Beauty, or the trails around Brissy.

Yeah it can be. But I've survived 3years on a roadie and try to keep to bike tracks and bike shoulder lanes where possible too. Always trying to give cars plenty of room and also give them no reason to complain about me either. My bike weighs half yours haha

Radlaide sounds safer than Sydney and Melbourne then. Good luck!

Nice! That's good going as those frames weren't the lightest. Mine's all Saint except for the SRAM X9 shifter :assassin: , Fox 40 Floats, and an Ohlins shock with a Ti spring. The Saint gear is heavier, more reliable, and cheaper than X0 DH. As nice as carbon cranks are rock gardens would kill them!

As soon as I saw him manual over that rock I though he was in trouble. Looks like a fun trail though. Loose as hell. Nothing like what I'm used to over here in Japan.
