My name's Ben, i live east of Melbourne, and i enjoy long walks on the beach
I have always loved the gen 4 wagons and have finally got myself one. Its a 6 speed manual gt-b with 160,000kms. I have had it since the start of the year but finally got around to post an introduction.
Impressions after 6 months of ownership: i'm surprised by how well the stock suspension rides and handles even at 160,000. Im finding the electronic throttle and flat spots through the revs very annoying, but nothing a good tune wont fix. Only other gripe would be that i'm not a fan of the stock wheels, but i plan to change those when i'm due for a new set of tyres. Overall a great car to drive to work, transport kids etc that i'm not going to get bored with in a hurry. So far the car hasn't missed a beat, and is a great quiet, comfortable daily. My kids love sports# and the sunroof.
Only mods so far are front lip (otr motorsport), LED parkers, clear front indicators, debadged rear, intake resonator delete.
Future plans are: Lowered suspension, rear sway bar, nicer wheels, tune, and quiet but better flowing exhaust. Most of my time and money goes into my track car, so im pretty confident modifications wont blow out on the wagon.
Here is a couple pictures:
