If it is just the sound and you can't feel it through the car body or steering, it could be something as simple as the disc brake baking plate has bent in and making contact with your wheel. I would take it somewhere put it on a hoist and have a good look. If it definitely started with the pot-hole incident there is a good chance you can visually identify the issue. Just look at all the bits that rotate .
