Hi,

My name is Fredrik, im from Norway.
Im actually a bmw-dude (own a 03 E39 530d touring), but my girlfriend owns a 07 Legacy 2.0R.
And as im the house-mechanic, i also need to take care of here car. :P

So came here to hopefully get answers to all my dumb subaru questions! :P
There is a Norwegian subaru forum, but it seems pretty dead so not much help to get there.

Tested the AWD in deep snow up a hill last winter, damn this car impressed me!
Went straight up, almost boring as there was no action.. :P

Cheers! :beach:

Welcome! Which part of Norway are you in? We were in Stavanger/Hommersak last year visiting my fiance's friends. Fell in love with Norway and the landscape - hoping to get back there and explore Trolltunga and Tromso. I'm surprised you haven't got yourself a Tesla!

Hi, thanks!

I live in Møre og Romsdal. :) There is alot of nice places here, but you kind of taking it for granted when you live here i think. :)
I have never been in Tromsø, was a short trip to Bergen and bought a car but thats it. hehe :)
I have a uncle and aunt in Brisbane, would love to visit them some time! That would be great! :)

Tesla? Naa, im not into elctric  Then i rather have a fast diesel engine :D
(350 hp, 800 nm would be nice in my bmw.. :D )

If you really want to look after the Subi , make sure it gets a regular service at 12000klms as they don't like dirty oil or overheating.
Find a good Subaru mechanic who understands the complexities of the flat 4 boxer engine and make sure the timing belt gets changed at 100000 klms.
:D

Hi maurice,

Thanks for the tip! I will make sure the oil gets changed. ;) I prefere to do it my selfe, as i know its been done right.
But its important to get it in the service book too. :)

I have to check the service book for the timing belt change, the car now has 130 000 km on it, so i think i will check
that it has been changed. :)

Don't know if you knew that the Legacy is called Liberty in Australia because the War Veterans Association here already has Legacy as it's registered name.
Does your Legacy have the 2.0 double overhead cam engine ? My previous Liberty was a 1991 LX model which had this engine.
