Still on the search for a laptop for logging sooner than later I hope and then to make some noise

FINALLY!!!

Installed the X-Force SS Centre and Y- Pipe, looks amazing and sounds great, not much drone to be found as yet, the only thing i want to do to it and straighten the mufflers to put them smack bang in the centre, have no idea how to embed youtube links but ill try

the second clip was a bit windy when i was recording so a tiny bit of editing to eliminate the wind was done took a little of the low end db out, not much of a stretch of road but enough i spose

hope you like it and gives an idea on how it sounds

Some BEFORE and AFTER photos of installing the x-force exhaust and also polishing the mufflers that were so much dirtier than i thought, covered in dirt and grime, polished up a treat whilst i was waiting for the paint to dry on the exhaust

Will be testing the drone out on a longish haul this weekend hopefully all is well and all that is left to do is straighten the tips. Seriously wish I had done this earlier was always hesitant but now am stoked
After confirmation of good sound levels ill be getting it retuned so that should be fun again

Not tuned yet. Found my airbox cracked so soldered that up this arv hopefully will be all good. Then a drive this weekend to test long distance drone....

if I get the car back together. Am attempting to remove the reverse switch is in an absolute prick of a spot. Have dropped the exhaust, driveline, gearbox subframes and rear engine support in order to get enough room to get a spanner onto it and am still having dramas my mechanic said he might have a "crowsfoot" adapter to hook onto it and get some muscle behind it fingers crossed tomorrow. Although havent ordered a new one yet so theres a few more days wait haha all fun and games

haha, i just had to pay my mech to do the reverse switch on mine last week as well. While he had the access to it, i got him to change all the shifter bushes as well. So much better shifting now, and as a bonus i can see where im going when reversing in the dark.

Took him about 2.5 hours to do the job.

Crowsfoot are your friend in a tight spot. Used for power steering line nuts where they meet the rack :)

All I need is to crack the nut and itl be finger tight just so hard to find enough room so ill pick up the crowsfoot this morning and fingers crossed all goes well but still wont have parts until next week im just hoping it is the actual switch and not the reverse lever not moving far enough or something its always something more difficult than you could imagine haha
Its taken me a bit longer than 2.5 hours so far but its all part of it

I wish I hadnt already changed all the shifter bushes as I had to take off most of it. Crossmembers, shift linkage, only the pivot bush is untouched doing this. So a good idea to do it all at once. Im just getting worried of being run up the rear when pulling out of car parks as noone knows your reversing and dont provide caution so when parked next to a van or troopy you have to basically pull 3/4 of the way out to see traffic and then you gotta be quick to get going haha so this will be a major improvement to everyday driving especially for the misses

Manual. It is located right up ontop of the trans. We thought of going through the shifter but its almost a foot further back than needed. I can now physically see the switch and have everything unhooked all I need is to crack the nut but not enough room to get a spanner in there properly ive tried everything I could with what tools I had available so am borrowing some today off .y mechanic with my fingers crossed
