This is Tony's street tune, for taking the kids to day care and shit....so 270-280kw on 18 psi. It drives so well, my cheeks (on my face you rude people) hurt from grinning.
My ass cheeks are fine if you were worried.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Cheers Tony. Car drives really well. If this car is indicative of your work/attention detail your tuning shop can only do well.

Well done Captain Thunder pants and Ian!!!!!!!

Good to see some real “biggish” numbers from a quality built engine.

Ian, now you can focus on your true calling, fully hectic static, Hella Farked… I mean Flush stance.

I’m sure your inner ricer will also want an airbrush masterpiece of a Unicorn being ridden by Coyote across the bonnet
Not a soobi anymore, but still slightly dirty

So went to Willowbank with this thing on Wednesday night and a few problems reared their heads.
Firstly, as we already knew, the clutch is dubious at these torque levels. If I try to launch it it just slips. I also think it slips in the big gears under big load. I already have a bigger clutch ready to go.
The next thing which was a know was a pre turbo exhaust leak. Namely from the inlet flange. I have a multilayer gasket ready to, it will go on this Monday.
Finally, it wasn't holding boost in the big gears. My boost gauge isn't to be trusted, but it would hit max boost then go back down to gate pressure then go back to target boost again, as if it had a really low sample rate on the boost controller. So, a few things spring to mind here. One, the 10-11psi spring in the gate is too girly. Two, the pre turbo exhaust leak is venting lots of pressure and spoiling boost control (likely). Three, The clutch is actually sipping just enough in the big gears to unload the show and allow boost to drop off, then hooking up again again, loading up and repeating (unlikely but possible).
The thing managed 13.2 114mph despite all of this...2.3 60'ect. So plenty left in it.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Pretty wicked numbers considering what reared it's head.

Can't wait to see what it's like with some serious hurt poured into it Ian. 8)
