Plenty of them fly off when used at speed.

I personally didnt even know I had them and had been using water jets with lights on doing 130kmph luckily mine has metal clips whereas a lot do not and this is where the issue comes in

For those that haven’t been following the drag night thread.
I took the wagon to the drags on Wednesday with a few others from the forum. My best run of the night was a 13.08 @ 106.5mph.

My 13.08 run from inside my car.. not that exciting to watch….

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBdNLhbDaDI

My 13.08 run from inside my opponents car - A Mitsubishi Mirage with a modified 1.8T GSR engine. Starts at 1:10 in the video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJIfnLNvTfI#t=112

I’ve definitely got the bug now. Going to go again in a few weeks, and will film it properly from inside and outside the car. If I reduce the weight in the car a bit, I may be able to go close to a 12.99 which would let me die happy hahaha

Nice time for an auto given your engine mods :)
Assume you haven't done any mods to the auto?
What was your 60ft time by the way?

No mods to the box itself.

Damn that's impressive!
I guess the extra 0.5ltr gets the turbo on song sooner.
Wonder if a stock 2.0 ltr auto box with similar engine power has ever done a 1.8 60 ft'er?

I did a left foot brake on mine to about 2500rpm. You can see it in the first video.

Yeah mate, my LGT with the new engine; on 98RON. Did it twice only 2 weeks ago (before centre diff went bye bye). Ironically, I only did two runs to "save the diff"

I'm now thinking I may have a similar issue as Mick (albeit slightly less exaggerated given my lower power and smaller turbo) as I couldn't get better than 2.3 or 2.4 60' :?

I can't shake this bad feeling that as soon as I go to the drags, my centre diff will get snapped up just like yours and J's!

Are there any centre diff upgrades we can do besides the pins?
