It's gotta be excessive and reducing the heat transfer that could be achieved with a faster flowing oil.

Will see how she goes, pressure and oil temp wise with the Nulon 5w30.

Where is those pressures measured? They are ridiculous.

Otherwise, where is the Like button. Someone gets it.

Measured on top of the case gallery, T'd into where the factory oil pressure sensor resides with the electronic innovate sensor taking the reading.

I realize it will read higher there but still its just excessive!

What was the oil temp?

80 something degrees.

Only approx 10 psi drop at idle at 120 degrees after 7 dyno runs in 3rd on the auto.

Idles at 35 psi when warm after driving for a half hour or more.
CURRENT - ATP GTX 3576 - 22psi - 283.7awkw

Cosworth have 2: high pressure (11 mm) and 12 mm High Pressure...

Got a figure of what you were charged? That might pinpoint which one: Car Mods Aus sell the 11 mm for $400 and the 12mm for $580...

Yeah no good

Couldn't get it to stall up still even though was doing fine on the street

Not getting enough heat in the headers sitting there before the runs

Had my chance in the first run as it was pretty much as soon as I came out of scrutineering (so headers wouldve been hot from driving there etc) but I wanted to just drive it off the line first run to see if its still blowing out spark / not revving after 6500rpm in 3rd.

Good news is it didnt do it as bad as last time.

Bad news is couldn't stall it up and also hit boost cut in 3rd and 4th so best trap speed tonight was 119mph

Think I need to wrap my headers / heat shield them or something in order to get heat into them quickly.

Any other suggestions before next Wednesday?

Mick

Oh I should mention i did improve my time this time though. 12.92 (still way off my pb of 12.2 on old setup making 250atw) and that was with a 2.68 60ft time.

95.7mph half track too

So its got the power to do a 10 with a 1.7 60 ft'er even if it boost cuts

What time were you there Mick, I didn't see your run? I was there from 5.20 and saw Cliffo & Brett do a few runs as well as another mate of mine in his Audi.

Shame you couldn't get it to launch Mick.

That 12.9 surprised a few people after you drove it off the line.

Good luck next week mate.
