The car is lookin tops Nikolai.

What kind of reversing camera did you get and how much did you pay? Im thinking of getting one for my car, but want it to look factory so am considering on either removing the cubby and fitting a lcd screen and integrating it into the ecu to show up some vital statistics in conjunction with gps and reverse camera OR just getting the rear view mirror version fitted so that it comes on only when I engage reverse.
Cheers

I just got a pretty basic setup from dx.com
http://www.dx.com/p/4-3-car-vehicle-rearview-mirror-monitor-dc-12v-pal-ntsc-126317#.VRNqE-FhKBo
It just clips over the original mirror. The LCD could be a bit brighter. It's a bit hard to see when it's really sunny.
and
http://www.dx.com/p/wired-170-degrees-waterproof-car-rearview-camera-for-subaru-forester-outback-impreza-legacy-194056#.VRNqFOFhKBo

The camera is not a direct fit as such, but it almost fits where one of the license plate lights goes. I broke out the plastic lens and sealed the small gap that was left with some silicon.
I'll post some pics of it. It's pretty tidy.

That's about right. (if only E85 was easy to come by here)

Finally got the 3d Cat delete done.
Just ordered one of these off Amazon and had it welded in locally. http://www.amazon.com/Exhaust-Pipe-2-25-Single-Wesdon/dp/B003IMOSHS/

Got some refurbished GT-B front Bilstein's and did the install over the weekend.
I was having some issues with the very low RS-R down springs because I was hitting the front bump stops on just about anything. So I pulled the shocks apart and got the trusty old Stanley knife out and chopped the internal bump stops down by a third.
What a difference. It's gone from bone shaking and bumpy to firm but controlled.
I should probably do some pics of the process.
Actually here http://www.brazeauracing.com/bumpstops.htm
Someone else has done the hard work to document the process. It's really is that easy.

It's rare as hell in NZ ay. Was asking round the other day to see if i'd go that route in the future and the only place to get it in Tauranga was some mechanic who only wanted to sell it by the drum

Love the rims by the way, would have done my spec b ones that colour, maybe a tad darker, if i didn't have other ones on the way.

You can get E85 at the Gull stations outside of Pukke and Hampton Downs but $$$$$

There is also a guy in Howick right behind Howick College that will sell you pure Ethanol. Again, the issue is that unless you buy it by the drum it costs a bit much. apparently the 20l containers just cost a whole lot. http://www.southpacificethanol.com The problem with buying a drum is that you need a license to store it.

So I have decided to go back to stock springs. I am getting the front's compressed to match the ride height of the saggy rears. These RS-R springs handle really well, but I think I am getting old and need some more comfort. I have developed a fear of going over manhole covers and bumps. Every time I see one I grip the steering really hard and close my eyes in anticipation of the hit.
The compressed springs will drop the front by 20mm, which is how much the backs have sagged.

You and me both Nikolai. I am seriously considering the same thing. How will you compress the springs?
Cheers
