Chemical guys detail products

Postby Vontisch » Tue Jul 29, 2014 10:56 pm

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience either range of chemical guys cleaning products. Either the sealants or waxes they offer. I am wanting to do a full detail on my car and was wanting some advice beforehand. I have watched lots of their YouTube clips and the product looks great and the one place in Aus that sells it is pretty cheap. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Chem guys are okay, a friend uses them and his car is spotless.
Personally iv only used there car wash and the v7 sealant gives a nice deep gloss(black car) well priced aswell :)

Thanks for the feedback. I am going to do a full detail in the near future. I will clay, wax, sealant and polish it using all their products and post some pics during the process.

I'm not too sure exactly but I want to start fresh with a clayed surface. Maybe something like the V34 or V36. Then use the jetseal 109 and finish off with a carnuba wax. I have some light swirling in the paint and I don't think that it has had a decent polish for a while. Any tips would be helpful. It is a dark grey gtb.
