WSID - Wednesday Night - New Date Coming Soon!

Postby peadya100 » Tue Jul 08, 2014 7:32 pm

Hey guys,
a few of you said you'd be interested in going to WSID in a few weeks. Im looking to go in 2-3 weeks with a couple of mates (non liberty owners), but im pretty much free every wednesday night, so im fairly flexible if people cant make it then and would prefer we move the date.

Would be good to get a few other club liberty members there... make a night of it!

Ive never raced before so its all new to me. So if anyone just wants to add some drag racing advice to this thread its also welcome :good:

Got a couple of mates going that day too. One with an 8 second street driven rx3 so should be a fun night

I missed the second part to your post Mick.
8 second rotary would be awesome to see!

I have a mate going with a supercharged SS coming. Never been down the strip but with 450wkw, it should comfortably run high 11's on street tyres.
I have another mate bringing his sleeper mitsubishi mirage. Has a 1.8 turbo in it. Its never been down the strip, but its bloody quick so may run 13's.

Good to hear youre interested Cliffo... would be great to see how the H6's go down the strip.

Also, what's needed do go to the drags again?

A helmet, correct clothing and like $60?

Adam, Is Craig coming with his evo?

Its $55 entry.
You need to wear long pants, long sleeves, closed shoes and bring a helmet.

Craig sold his evo 8 Ryan... he bought an evo 10 but it only has 250wkw at the moment so he didnt think it was worth racing it. (Still a quick car in my eyes). He built a mirage with a GSR engine though, so hes bringing that. It has better power to weight than my car.

So all it takes to get a respray is to get someone to throw some glass at the car? ;-)

Jealous of how good your car will look afterwards dave!

Have run a 14.2 @ 99mph but hope to dip into the 13's with a better 60ft time and new revision from Matt.

Cant wait.
