Get back from the shops alright I take it J? :p

Always happy to help out :good:
Seat of pants dyno says this car is ludicrous! Even without a proper tune up and not even hitting half pedal

Doing some research on the catch can and I'll let you know.
Also if you want me to shoot you the LV, pm me your email and I'll send it through.
mod -> tune -> drive -> get bored -> repeat...

Took for a spin, spools faster everytime and more consistent performance.

Even after some other pulls goes harder when hot than it used too.

lucky!! I found my actuator broken when I removed a hose once!

how did you wire up the pump? does it switch on when the ignition is on and run full time?
any chance of a better photo from the top of the engine bay?

I've never been so excited to see a silicone hose!!!!

Damn hose finally turned up today.

I'll pop it on and a take some pics of final engine bay for you.

WTA pump is big......had to install horizontal under passenger chassi bar.

WTA pump is triggered off the fuel pump relay so is only on when car is on.

Can not wait till weekend n tune!!

Blouch 1.5 XTR seems to be the source of considerable oil into my intake manifold etc.

It has a restrictor in the infeed as well as the IP&T filter.

Cruising oil pressure is 70 to 85 psi

does it need another restrictor or should I just get a different brand turbo.

Have I just used it to death?

Any thoughts would be welcome.

The core is a Garrett, so it probably isn't right to say the turbo is bad quality. It sounds like you've already decided though :D

Went to Mtq who looked up the desired oil pressure for my turbo.....only 60psi so the 100 I am feeding it is too much and we need to change the restrictor.
Off to check shaft play and measure current restrictor opening and do some maths...

Alternatively piston to wall clearance is too much and blowby is pressurising the crankcase and hence turbo innards through the drain.
This will cause issue I have now.....FFS I hope not this....

Maybe I havent killed it after all!!

Re: Profile - JSLAYZ - Finished for now.....

Postby jslayz » Sat Jul 05, 2014 12:30 am

Redid pcv plumbing and installed the Saikou Michi Catch can.
Left head breathers closed off though.
Now have one catch can filtering the CCV return to the inlet pipe and the other filtering the CCV return to the PCV.

We will find out tomorrow when it has a dyno session on the dyno that it was 320awhp last time what a WTA kit does 8)

If this config is good Ill get some bracketing to make this setup more 'permanent'.

Feels good to drive though...
