Hey guys,

Proud owner of a 2006 Subaru Liberty Tuned By STI #294/300

My names Shant,I'm 20 and this is my first Subaru and I absolutely love it.

Current mods: Stage 1 Tune by MRT (currently running 171kw atw) as well as some DBA Slotted rotors, other than that the car is stock.

Will be needing a new clutch, started slipping in 3rd gear today - any recommendations? Looking at getting the Exedy HD kit at the moment

Welcome

First thing i would definitely do (with absolute certainty) is a retune

Depending on budget, kinugawa have recently released a bolt on turbo for these cars (very recent thing) which should be a nice upgrade for under $1000

You will need injectors and fuel pump to take advantage of the new turbo - budget $1000 for both of these items.

Turbo back exhaust (tbe) will also be a required at around $1500 including dump pipe and cat / mufflers.

And a retune (etune from $400 all the way through to around $1200 for dyno tune)

Good luck

Mick

Grab yourself a tactrix cable so you can etune, monitor the health of your car, diagnose and clear Check Engine lights (instead of going to mechanics every time). Should be around the $250 new delivered.

Once you have one an etune is more like $120-150 :)

I thought MRT was good haha why all the hate? Or is there something I'm missing.

The car drives reasonably well, close to no lag - takes off after 3k revs
