Is that coolant out of the exhaust? Please tell me you're injecting meth and water?

Yep i had a bit of a fucked up day or two.

It happened so unexpectedly . Driving fine, boosting fine NOTHING was wrong. No big temps, no low idle....!!

Turned Left and squirted 2nd and then 3rd gear on boost to 4-4500rpm tops and BOOOOM. White smoke everywhere.

So i put it in neutral and it switched off, Lost brakes and power steer. Pulled over and popped the bonnet and coolant all over the Right side of the motor.

Got it to the mechanic and got it to start, sounded like a big end gone. But pissed out white smoke, which is actually steam.

Its pumping coolant out the exhaust HARD.

Mechanic thinks it a cracked block and or bore and or dropped sleeve. But maybe not dropped sleeve as im not pushing big numbers.

Ive got a "funny' vid of it pumping combustion gases through the radiator cap.!!

Yeh it did.

BUT in RWD. So only 220 at all 4s i would say. So NO where near the power it should be an issue.

Also this is a std VF46 running 18psi, at peak power it was like 14psi.

My builder was like you could put another 10psi at peak power and it SHOULD be fine.!!

So i think its a case of something has just Fucked up hard.... And ive gotta deal with it.

So who knows whats the legality of going DOWN in engine size.

Im thinking of buying the better 2.0L block and using my crank, rods, pistons, sleeves and bore and honing and close decking perhaps.

With the 2.5L crank, rods and big 100.5mm pistons it will be a bit of a stroker motor.

But can i register a 2.0 or 2.35 or what ever it will be when it came out factory 2.5L??

As long as the "engine" (read that as engine number) is as new or newer than car you are legal. Emissions shit.
