Bit of a pain that you have to take the battery out to get to it, but not the end of the world.

I wish id done this sooner! I didnt realise how yellow the old parkers were until i saw them next to each other. I also didnt realise how cool the shape of the parkers are on the post facelift until i saw it with a brighter white light running through it :D

Hey Peadya100, for future reference, you don't have to remove the battery, just loosen the bracket and move to the side.
After taking a while to figure this out, and confused by their inaccessibility compared to previous cars, I wrote some instructions: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=23350&hilit=parkers

Did my front indicators this weekend and have light cuts on my hand to prove it: maybe wear gloves if big hands ;)

Great tip!!
Its especially useful as ive noticed that my $5 ebay LED's have already started losing some of the LED's hahaha
So im already due to replace them... after my last remaining cheap LED's fail, i think i might splurge and invest in some decent ones like Leo's.

I'm definitely going to grab some of Leo's LEDs - the reversing lights in particular are hopeless on my car, and I want to get LED tails for the Outback (it keeps blowing incandescent bulbs).

So I decided I needed to tone down my exhaust with a baby on the way. After very nearly going back to stock mufflers, I ended up replacing my hot dog resonator with a mid muffler today.
Very happy with the result. Warm car idle is 2-3db less inside the car, and the noise while driving is much more tolerable. Its still obviously a sports exhaust, but it toned it down just enough. Recommend it to anyone considering the same :good:

Maybe it was advice from Scotty's Customs?
Anyway, thankfully it works...

Agreed. I gotta do this to my car too...even with a manual the drone can be too much esp with winter coming and doing snow/road trips.

How much are we looking at for this mod if you don't mind me asking Adam?

Nice work Adam. Might look at doing this too once the heavy note of the exhaust starts to get long in the tooth

Didn't realise we were talking about the first person to mention a muffler in the centre pipe in the history of this forum  because if that's the case, you're probably not the first justin.

I'm not taking offense, but that link ben supplied isn't relative as you were providing advise to someone else.

I'm talking about Adam raising the point of quieting down his car and people that gave him advice. I linked the thread in question a couple of posts before this.
