why under 100,000km?

I'd rather own a 100,000km+ old 3.0RB every day of the week. Then you know it will last for another 200,000km.

This isnt 1970. They dont fall apart.

Well here's a suggestion... you're already half way there by putting this thread up... but I'm sure there are some guys in NSW or QLD on this forum that could go and check the car out for you? I know a few guys over here in Perth that has got some members to check out cars for them. Plus this bunch will know exactly what they are looking for...
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Is there some shortage on Spec Bs in Victoria or something, been looking for quite a few months

I couldnt get what I wanted in Vic so I got mine from Sydney.

would love to buy mine from queensland/nsw but the problem is i can't get over there to check the car out :(

they seem to have a lot more Spec Bs with lower Kms but. :(

Ive purchased 2 cars interstate now, both great sellers ill admit. If they have complete service history find out who has done this and ring them to check and

find if there has been any issues etc. If Subaru have serviced the car they seem more than willing to tell u all about the car in my experience. :D

Again GL finding a great car.

I didnt check mine out, had a good seller who sent me loads of pics of the car and it had full books with it so I took the punt and ended up with a good car and low (90k) kms.

Wheels and body had marks, but Im fussy (ex panel beater) so I generally fix all that stuff with every secondhand car I get.

Just ask them to show you areas that you know are the most common for wear and tear...such as the carpet in the drivers foot well, door trims etc.

I'll probably wait a bit more to see if anything comes up in VIC, then i'll turn to interstate. How long did you look around VIC for?

It pays to wait for the right car to come along.

It took me nearly 6 months to find my manual wagon, ended up finding it in Canberra.
Drove up and back in a day for look, flew back a few weeks later to drive it home. :)

I also had one checked in Adelaide by a mate and put an offer on one in Sydney. (should have offered more on that one, it was a cracka.)

If you are looking in Victoria only, be prepared for a longer wait.

Thats right but I think its about 4-5k over priced. I got my 07 with Satnav in auto for 14.5k with 90k on the clock. Manual might be more desirable but not 7.5k more desirable.
