Outback bonnet on lib?

Postby drndrn » Mon Jul 28, 2008 11:01 am

G'day guys,

I know it may have been mentioned before but I haven't found any deep discussion into this, just wondering if anyone has had an outback bonnet (two bulges/creases) put on their lib? Does it fit properly? If so how much did it cost?

I just the look of the bonnet, I think it'll look mean as on a lib.

So, ideas?

Darren.

At a 'guess', it should be a perfect fit (unless ofcourse you nee a hole in the middle of it). Outback and Lib are the same car. But I'd suggest it would be advisable to get confirmation from Subaru Parts... and to be sure, measure up the bonnets of both the Lib and Outback.

I reckon that if you could find a good bonnet at a wreckers, you could take your car down there and try it on for size before committing to purchase. Then you'll know for sure. Just need to paint it to match then.

Yeah that's a fair assumtion to make... but you won't know until you try. I've seen bonnets and all sorst of car part stocked up in multi-storey shelving at wreckers. There'll be an Outback bonnet out there somewhere.

Subaru list recommended repairers in one of the little books you got when you bought the car, call one that's close to you and ask if they have an Outback for repair and see if they'll look at whether it'll fit your car.

My brother has an Outback, if you have a blue liberty I'd be happy to pinch it off his car
