Jack and stands rating

What kind of rating jack and stand would I need to lift and hold up my car? I have a trolley jack (1550kg) and stands (1400kg), would that be enough to hold up a 3.0R Outback?

If you are looking to get all four wheels up in the air, do NOT use just two stands and a jack. Always use four stands. Most cheap stands are rated for 1.2-1.6 tonne which means that one individual stand can hold up to that much weight by itself before collapsing. For an average 1.8 tonne car like most current Subaru's, four stands will easily hold the car up forever.

The jack should be used to raise and lower the car on and off the stands only, not to support it up for any extended length of time. Never get under a car that is supported by the jack only.
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...
