Hi all,

I recently bought an MY03 Subaru Liberty as my daily, its 2.5L Manual..such a nice car to drive, within a week of getting it, i took it for a drive up to the central coast, it was awesome! :)

it's bone stock! and i dont plan on doing any mods anytime soon due to currently working on my GC8 WRX...(the money pit)

anyway i look forward to learning a lot from all of you!

cheers!

Welcome aboard. I take it the WRX is not a daily driver? Pics?
I was going to procrastinate, but I put it off...

The GC8 was my daily.. :)

after hitting the 200KW holy grail...it was just a matter of time before wanting more out of the car.

im currently doing an MY06-07 STI Drivetrain swap

Welcome!

Your GC8 looks nice :) I think you'd be able to fool most into thinking it was a STI 4 door :D

Welcome.

The GC8 sounds like a beast.

Some good news, your car is at least an MY04. No Gen 4 was an MY03.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone!

so far im loving how nice the Liberty drives, coming from a GC8 i thought the liberty being heavier would not handle as good..but how wrong i was..sometimes i forget im driving a "big" car, its so nimble!

that could be a bad thing haha, i have bad habit of never keeping any car stock for long..must resist the urge.

as for my GC8, it is getting R180 Diff, 6 Speed Sti gearbox, Brembos...and associated gear..after that is done, im slowly going to build an EJ257 Block with Argo rods, CP pistons and 11mm ARP headstuds using MY99 Heads and "maybe" aftermarket cams..

the aim is to run a GT3076R with 1000cc injectors, im building a solid 300KW car :) then Liberty is daily
