Mine came with fixings, but if yours doesn't you could just use self tappers.

Update:

Ultrex ss CBE has been fitted a few days ago. I must say I am quite impressed with the systems sound. According to my mate who fitted it, it was a bitch to fit. Some issues with the heat shield from the dump getting in the way, so that (heat shield) had to be removed.

Note wise, its really nice. You can hear it, but its not annoyingly loud. Its got a nice burble to it akin to the boxer note we all dream about. There is no drone at 80kph, anything under 1800rpm you can barely hear. Just a nice subtle note that reminds you that you have a Subaru. I really like it.

The fit of the system with the mufflers at the rear are ok. The tips stick out a bit so they end almost inline with the rear of the bumper. Looked a little weird at first but Im getting used to it. The alignment to the cut outs in the bumper are favoring slightly towards the inside of the cut out. The other side also matches so its not too visually out, but you can tell. I might need to get them adjusted.

I also got the front lip fitted at the same time. Definitely makes an improvement on the looks. I like it. Again it was a bit problematic to fit, but we got there in the end.

When the dump pipe goes on, drill out the 5 spot welds in the old turbo heat shield and it will be easy to refit

Cheers mate. I agree the tips are a bit long. Makes me wonder if I was given the wagon versions. No matter. I plan to change the mufflers to quads when funds are available.

And yes, Spec B suspension or similar would be nice, but I still gotta keep this comfortable. As for the Spec B bar, now that I have the lip I dont know if I'll change it, unless I have an accident.

Thanks mate. Im real happy with the result. The lip just make a huge visual improvement, and the exhaust just sounds awesome. I get a smile every time I drive it. I got my car wheel aligned today with the local boys at bob janes today and even they said they loved the look and sound of the car!

Im sort of reluctant to lower it due to ride quality and clearance but if I did id lower it by no more than an inch.

Thanks Patrick. Appreciate your support. I'm not doing anything super fantastic, just trying to keep a balanced view on mods at this point. Also wouldnt mind this car having a bit of a 'sleeper' appeal too.
