Thats great deal...

I have some Festool 8000 and 11000 polishing compound...
And some Dodo Black wax...
So I think I might just require a sealant to use between the compounds and the wax . Any suggestions?

Well I was at the "car care products" shop on friday and they recommended a good affordable sealant but I didn't buy one. Id recommend calling these guy's. They really know their stuff and dont push or try to upsell.

I have the blue velvet dodo juice as well... great wax!!

P.s. youll need coarser compound than 8000 to get scratches out. I think my mates stage was 2500 but dont quote me on it.

OK I'll give it a crack with some generic medium compound paste and a waffle foam pad or a sheepskin pad.

My bonnet really needs a respray so I cant really go wrong ;)

I'll be going over it with touchup paint and a toothpick as a brush, after I clay bar it again.

I decided if im getting a re-tune I better look into anything else I might want to do that requires a tune. Was looking at a new TMIC, but my tuner talked me out of it. He suggested an in guard CAI. So I bought this process west one he recommended. Im just hoping it wont be too loud... ill test it before the tune just in case... dont want to pay for ANOTHER re-tune!

I'd get a Cx Racing FMIC while you're there....same price as a second hand tmic but with real gains :)

If a front mount would fit easily on my car id do it.. but definitely dont want to have the hot and cold side piping popping out of the fog light surrounds. Or having to seriously modify the front bar. So based on that, no front mount for me alexei hahaha

The CX Kit is basically a bolt in, other than the CAI being wrong

Dammit Matt!
Ignorance "was" bliss!
What sort of gain does a front mount give. Does the cooler air just improve the ability to drive harder for longer, or is there a power gain too?
