Electrics Problem

Heys guys,

On my 04 Lib sometimes when I start it up it will start with no electrics ie. the trip computer, stereo, climate control all don't come on and don't operate. It happens rarely and all I do is turn off and on again and everything works.

Any ideas on what the problem might be?

did you buy your car privately or from a dealership? if you bought it from the dealership, maybe take it back to em

I can see this being a typical warranty problem.

Intermittent, and never stuff up when you take it back, until the warranty (although a lot of factory warranties cover stuff all anyways) eventually runs out and then it becomes a bigger problem, paying by the hour to eventually fix it.

Always the way.

i've got the same problem. my stereo is fine. its just my air con and climate control system that doesn't turn on... let me know what your dealer says or if you fix it.

had my car put in service at suttons chullora 2 weeks ago and told them to check the electronics. told them that the problem occurs about twice a week. when i picked up the car, they technicians report said that they could not spot the fault in the air conditioner and hence are unable to fix it. maybe we should really complain and get them to change the whole electronics fitout the vehicles.

Mines stopped doing it... well lately anyway. But this problem does seem to turn up out of the blue so maybe I've just been lucky lately/
