You get what you pay for.
Isn't high zinc bad for catalytic converters?

He wanted the oil sample from inside my oil filter - so I'll be changing oil then.
Gb - according to their experience with turbo liberties Bill said amsoil gets 10-15k kms between changes on 98. I doubt they would let you get it farked based on what we spoke about. Obviously if you're running ethanol - different story.

The style of driving was brought up a fair bit - the libs getting 12-15 are driven at an average pace "with occasional boost" as Bill put it.
That's also why he said bring the oil in when I think it's ready - because it's as much about matching the oil to the driving style as it is to the particular engine. I'm thinking 5,000-7,000km.
They recommend the Amsoil oil filter after the first amsoil oil change, as it filters a lot finer (some impressive micron number) and keeps oil cleaner for longer. But considering the Amsoil filter is $66 and I still have 9 OEM filters lying around, I'll just change oil more often

With the new beast I get it services they use Motul Turbolight and it seems fine and don't see any reason to change.
