Loss of power at 2500rpm

Postby kennysti » Tue Nov 12, 2013 5:53 pm

Hey all! It's been a while since I've been around there parts! Unfortunately I come baring a problem.
Ive noticed a spot particularly in 3rd and 4th about 2500rpm where the revs stop climbing and basically no matter how hard you floor it, you get nowhere and the revs don't move. I seem to have noticed if you get out of 2nd high enough that you end up around 3000rpm you don't really get the problem but I've even been fooled by this problem in 2nd gear on the rare occasion. Boost is holding fine so it's not an intake leak, done a check around the engine bay all seems fine and cleaned my air filter (HKS dry type) I've had the auto trans serviced and it's fine, the 100,000km service was done about 4 months ago.

It does need another tune but the problems have only been around a month or so and I have been untuned for about 8 months. Here's my list of mods in case the problem is there somewhere.

HKS panel filter
GFB BOV
Phat Dump
3" stainless exhaust with 4" tips
*was then tuned by ASG*
sillicone inlet pipe
Kobe TMIC
deatschwerks 65c fuel pump

Anyone experienced anything like what I've got going on? Any help would be appreciated :)

It could just be a tune thing

Its finally learnt your new mods and doesn't like it and has developed a black hole where its pulling timing cause its thinks its too lean.

Get a scan / log of it and it will tell you all
Not a Subaru...... Something MUCH better

NOPE..... That's shit too. Bus anyone??
