HAHAHHAHHA... yeh I know hey!!

I had a llooooooooooonnng discussion with the boss and said that im happy to keep the car, so lets build it properly and be confident with it. And that's gunna cost $8.5k ish...... mmmhh I think im gunna go over that.!!! Just on the motor with no turbo or anything.!!!

Lets just say that it will be massively over engined for the setup for a while. Which im really happy with.

F%$&(*&g FINALLY

The block has been pressure tested and has come back all good.

The sleeves have been measured to exactly 100mm .

So im gunna need an oversize 100mm piston , ie a 100.5

But places don't stock oversize 100mm pistons as 100mm IS the oversize

So I've made some enquiries !!! Just have to wait and see.

Why must things take sooooooo long...

But good things come to those who wait I suppose .

Your sure about those sizes.... not sure how you are going to gt a 100.5mm piston inside a 100mm sleeve......

Yeh, need to bore out the sleeve to suit.

So cause the bore is already 100, I need a piston that is either designed for the next size over or is actually 100mm diameter now. So that when its bored and honed it will be 100mm plus the bore and hone, so 100.5mm or what ever the next size is. 100.25 or what ever.

Am I saying that right???

100.5mm piston in a 100.25 hole... the time space continuum is not that flexible. Pretty sure your after a 99.5mm piston and then take in ring gap to make it seal up.

Forgies expand with heat.
