Yes, work on programming the machines to perfectly replicate the original is well under way.
They sent email on Friday saying items to be completed in 10 days. Everything stretches out a bit but we are certainly on the home straight

Very interested in a set of the new headers. I've read your previous posts explaining why cats aren't included and also some posts by other members, some who recommend upgrading to 100/200 cell and others who say stock cats are fine. I would plan on removing the 3rd cat.
Also is the stock cat 2 1/2 inch?

Will see how they go on this target

Which bit are you concerned about?
The new ones are clearly quite different in terms of the 3-1, the new ones seem to go in to 1 pipe much earlier compared to the originals which merge together right until the gasket?
SubMeister wrote:From what I understand of these things when I used to play around with motorcycle exhausts, how the pipes merge together as well as the location of the merge, relative to the length of the primary pipes, are critical for creating an effective scavenging effect, i.e. when one exhaust pulse shoots through, it ideally should help pull the next exhaust pulse through, etc. And this is what allows good headers to let an engine "breathe', and make good power while maintaining or even enhancing torque. I think this is the bit that you are trying to get 100% right, Tim?
