Ride: MY05 (i think) GT Sedan + 1981 RX7 13B Turbo
Location: Sydney NSW
Mod: None to the GT, substaintial to the RX7 lol
Plans: No plans for the Lib, quite happy with how it is now
Occupation: Project Manager / Mechanical Engineer
Year of birth: 1980
Interest: Cars, motorsports, gym + fitness
Previous Rides:
- 1999 N15 Pulsar SSS
- 1992 N14 Pulsar Q
- 1998 VT Commodore Berlina
- 1987 TM Magna (first car lol)

Hey guys, just joined up after purchasing a GT sedan on the weekend (picking it up this week). It was advitised as a MY04 but has a build date of 9/04 (which i thought would make it a MY05....can someone confirm this please??). It's an upgrade from the previous N15 SSS pulsar that i just sold a week ago. Not planning any mods, quite happy with it as is.
The real toy is a 1981 Mazda RX7 with a 13B Turbo, which up until now has just been a quick street car...but i'm now planning to take it further and make it more of a circuit racer than a street car.
Anyway, hope to learn a heap about my toy and meet some of you guys.
Cheers

Thanks guys, yeah the rx7 was about 3 years of backyard work...everything except the windscreen has been removed and replaced at some stage. It's quite a bit of fun with a healthy 225rwhp, which in a light weight car (1050kg) gets it down the quarter mile in 13.1 on street rubber :)

Finally picked up the GT on the weekend after a few hold ups....got some pics too:

love the GT, after two days of driving it to work (45min each way) I can't wipe the smile off my face :D
That strong mid-range torque is just so addictive, even with the semi-auto 'box!!

hehe the thought of mods had crossed my mind,...wouldnt mind some slotted rotors and some suspension upgrades...but that may have to wait a while
