Where'd you get billies in that great condition. They look new. If they are where'd you find them that doesn't cost an arm and a leg...

Got them from eBay. Pretty sure they were a set of the Wheelpower ones but hadn't been installed by the previous owner.

Your set-up is pretty much exactly what I wanna do, minus the Coilovers. Nice work dude, and kudos for doing it all yourself!
Did you get the muffler alignment sorted out?

I wasn't going to do coilovers originally but ended up spending close to as much as what they cost anyway. Was a good learning experience I guess.
There are good walkthroughs for the things I have done so far which makes life easy for people like me with pretty much no mechanical knowledge. I am leaving the bushes to a shop though

Still waiting for the centre and y pipe to arrive so some zip ties are holding it in place for now

Got the Xforce centre and Y pipe a while ago now. After laying it out under the car I found that it was about 20cm too long to match up with the front cat flange.

I was advised it would be an easy fix, just get an exhaust shop to cut to length and reweld. Today I took it to my local exhaust shop and got him to do the work however apparently the centre pipe was never going to match up with the y pipe, was going to point down, the flanges weren't going to line up correctly etc.

Ended up with the Xforce Y pipe and he made up a custom centre for me and he sorted out the left hand muffler alignment for me too. Bit annoyed that a "bolt on" part can be so wrong but I am not the first to have fitment issues with the N/A Xforce exhausts but happy it's sorted. I will have too try and get a sound clip of my "bitsa" exhaust. Stock headers to front cat, custom centre and front muffler, Xforce Y pipe and TCP Auto quads :-)

Not happy

Postby cowma » Sun Oct 06, 2013 6:05 pm

Got home after work yesterday to discover this. Happened sometime between Wednesday am and Saturday pm either while it was at the airport or in the carpark at work. :angry2: Runs from almost level with the rear view mirrors to about 20cm past the rear door
