Postby rivsta » Sun Aug 18, 2013 11:07 am

hi, maybe I have been looking in the wrong areas, but could find any posts with a yes or no.

I have a 04 gen 4 , 2.5 litre liberty..

do I need to change the fuel filter ? I gather it is in the fuel tank..
I read some where when i googled that you don't need to unless your changing your fuel pump is this correct.

is it or isn't it a serviceable item every X amount of K's.?

but I did have a heart attack when repco charged me $125 for the thing....

thanks

Autoone should have some filters for cheaper but I would go for a Geniune filter.
Good luck hope I helped haha

You're correct. The owners manual states that the fuel filter does not need to be changed. It's integrated with the fuel pump.
