Go to sleep for a few hours and this happens XD

Some good points Rooby, I agree with you. However it came with the HU and I'm too picky to leave anything not installed and functional.

That being said, I will use the Bluetooth sparingly. It's illegal here too but a very minimum chance of getting caught. I focus 100% on the road but when my phone rings I'm wondering for the rest of the drive who it is.
Even if I see who it is and decline the call, it solves the mystery and gets my attention back on the road.
If there is an emergency and I have to talk on the phone, I can do it safely with all hands left to driving.

I don't really get many phone calls apart from work and emergencies so it won't be used that much anyway.

Its not legal here but I do it all the time as well on my headunit bluetooth as well.

I spose having bluetooth is better then the temptation of not having it and using the handset.. :D

Kody, in QLD it's illegal to talk on a mobile phone full stop on your P1. Once you're on your P2 you can use hands free like other drivers (Bluetooth etc)

Update: The headunit is one. Sound quality is 10x better and I can actually notice the bass out of the standard speakers now.
I will definitely be hitting up speakers/amps/subs soon but in the mean time my goal is once again for coilovers
20th time is the charm.

Here' a couple of dodgy iPhone pics, I was considering doing a video showing the features if anyone was interested in the same unit? I can't recommend it highly enough.

Looking good Kody, very nice HU.

I was looking at the AV panels for my car and I noticed there is one available in black instead of silver. I think the black would look better than the silver, except for the small problem of the rest of my console/gearknob surrounds are silver and it might look odd. Did you consider the black one>?

I did as there where a few for sale when I got mine, but to match everything would have been difficult.
It would be easy to remove the surround around the shifter and paint it, but having seen the black surround it would be a funny colour to match. The silver one came up at a price I couldn't argue and I got that instead.
I have a few future plans to redo parts of the trim gunmetal grey so the silver should work nicely in the centre anyway.

If you wanted to try black, the hardest part would be matching the colour (if you are as picky as me and wanting it to be perfect) but if you did it, I agree the black would look nicer

Head unit looks sweet kody! So jealous.
And if you were going to paint the existing silver trim pieces, you'd repaint the black fascia surround at the same time instead of matching it... Duh

Eh, sounds like too much effort for me!

Some good points about the HU:
Digital Radio
Appmode
Bluetooth Audio (standard these days I know, but I enjoy having my phone in my pocket while it plays music from my iPod) :air_kiss:

I don't have a Samsung, but with the right cable you can play/charge one with it according to Pioneer so I'd say yes

+1 to Zac, G88 for the facia kit for sure unless you can find one second hand
