welcome another auto sedan......

bad question to ask.......what can I do to it to open it up a bit??.......... sell what you have and give it all to a member called Phat gt...... Phat is your man for great parts at a good price

joke aside..... what do you want big power gains?

I have done a hks filter and removed the resonator and added zero sport intake pipe. increased air flow can't be too bad.

also have done the sways bars and lower braces.... your oem ones a too thin and hollow..... great mod.... you really feel the difference.

#037, Black, sedan, manual, silver

had it two weeks before engine "blew up"!!! not my fault though, Subaru Aus tells me that after pulling it apart it appears the main bearing/s disintegrated! they were kind enough to replace the engine for me.

bit shocked though. owned a WRX Club Spec Evo IV previously and never had a problem with it in the four years I owned it

thanks guys, was going to push the point of getting a new car but then though - how are they going to give me a new one when there were only a limited number released?

Got to say that I was very disappointed with Subaru Aus and the way they managed the situation. The dealer here on the Sunshine Coast was fantastic and got the car straight into their mechanic and gave us a WRX for the 10 days it took to fix. But when I rang the Subaru Aus Customer Care line the girl on the phone was very dismissive of the whole situation and made me feel that I should be thankful they are replacing the engine. I ending up putting in a complaint and the Qld boss called me and offered for my first three services to be free!! Wow how generous of them - I pay $70,000 for a car that has a busted engine and they give me a couple of free car services!

It really soured my view of Subaru Aus and the whole experience.

Got to say though that I absolutely love the car despite it being a Friday arvo car - aircon is playing up, driver's seat cushion is being replaced due to all the stitching coming away. Perhaps I should demand a new car!

Unfortunate what happened to you mate. I think I would be pretty upset if something like that happen 2 weeks into my owning a new car.

It's a pity that the little things like poor customer service and dismissive people have soured your ownership of what is a great car. I hope you put in your letter what a waste of time the customer service girl was and what a poor representative of Subaru she was. She will get basically get what you got from her, but from higher up in her food chain.

Dave seriously mate i think if you push enough buttons you will get what you want.

Surely if you spent that much you would want a 100% working car. Not one that has it engine replaced straight after the purchase.

Would you ever pay $70K for a defective item? Even if they replaced the engine it still isnt how it originally rolled off the production line.
