Yep, it is a surge tank/pump unit.

I was surprised to see that the body is machined from a solid block!

Has submersible fuel pump inside, Walbro 460, so no fuel smells around the car.
They run them on the fords with a different hanger system, shown here http://www.processwest.com.au/products/ford/ba-bf-products/anti-surge-fuel-system

I'd never seen one so thought I'd put it up for everyone.

Roll on start of Sept!!

Damn the rally season for interupting my build timeline

Hi Mick

Got a 300 to go in the tank to feed this.

Its going to be mounted in front of the brake distribution block, on bracket of some sort....

Plenty of work and a CAI from Process West yet to come to make it fit.

Kevin and the team there seem to crank some nice gear!

Wow that's going to be a hell of alot of work for your reg to do to keep base pressure

What sort of base pressure are you thinking of running? And what size injectors?

With a 300 lift pump and 460 primary, that's going to be a shit load of fuel

Will be interesting to see if you can maintain base pressure of 3 bar and still hold a solid idle. Is this on 98 or e85?

Its only a 98 dinosaur fuel car, No E85 for this car.

Will see what MMS can put together.
